Business Management Level 4 Short Course

This course looks at how current trends are used in the development of websites. It looks at both scripting and mark-up languages. Students will develop knowledge of how to design, implement and test aspects of a webpage. Students will learn about topics of: Design (Web Standards / W3 and where we are, Web Graphics Concepts - Graphics and Compression, Design Tools / Rapid Prototypes, Web Design Concepts, Accessibility, Testing for web sites such as Compliance, Browser and Accessibility, Responsive Web Design and current trends, and the Impact of the web on businesses and the public). HTML (What HTML is all about / the history, Current versions of HTML versus older versions such as HTML5 v XHTML, HTML Tags including forms, lists, tables, semantic structure, The DOM, and Web Servers and Hosting).
