Lichfield-Based Business Benefits From Multiple Training Grants

Pedrollo Distribution Ltd is a Lichfield-based importer and wholesaler/distributor of water pumping and water treatment equipment. They have been active for almost thirty years and currently have twenty-three employees.

As a member of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, the team at Pedrollo are kept up-to-date on the grants that they’re able to apply for, and were of course informed when the Skills Hub Training Grants were made available.

Since July 2021 the business has applied for and has been awarded several Training Grants, which were used to fund the following training courses: Racking Safety Awareness; Customer Service; Manual Handling; and Forklift Truck training.

These courses have equipped the business’ warehouse staff with new or refreshed skills, which has in turn improved Pedrollo Distribution Ltd’s Health and Safety compliance and also enabled their sales staff to better serve their customers.
