Parker Software secures 48% match funded grant towards Secure .Net Development training

Staffordshire based tech company, Parker Software, a world leader in live chat software and business process automation gets the go-ahead for grant funding.

Daniel Tallentire, Operations Director at Parker Software said “We approached the skills hub because we needed to train our developers on secure development practices. We wanted to access some higher quality training for our team, that would enable them to make our product more secure.”

From there, Daniel met with one of the Skills Advisors, Abigail Caiger, who discussed these training needs in more detail with Daniel before creating an action plan and getting the ball rolling for a grant worth nearly £2000, saving them 48% on the costs of the course.

“Without the grant, we wouldn’t have been able to fund the training for the whole team. Throughout the process we have been fully supported by the skills hub since the initial approach – managing expectations and helping us look at different training providers.”

The innovative software company is now more able to ensure secure development practices and continue to develop its online chat software packages while defending against online threats.
