Award Winning Technical Services company upskills in Sales

EPX Technical Services are an award-winning IT Support and IT Managed Services business based in Stafford, providing their clients with specialist IT solutions.

Building on their existing sales skills, EPX Technical Services are implementing new sales tactics to reach customers. The training with the approved training provider, Sandler Training, enabling them to adapt their sales techniques in their day-to-day operations.

Dean Hateley, Sales Manager at EPX, said “I found the training provided by Sandler was very good indeed, it helped me to craft my sales conversations and to ask the right questions at the right times and the lessons I learnt from the foundation course are already being used in my day to day role by myself and my team”.

The Skills Hub were able to carry out an organisational needs’ analysis with EPX, highlighting potential sales training and drawing attention to the 48% Training Offer Grant, saving the business just over £900 on the costs of the training.

EPX are now considering further training in leadership, and carrying out a second application via the Skills Hub, tapping into more of the grant available to Staffordshire businesses.
